The most exciting game of round 27 in the BNXT League took place in Kortrijk. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 4th placedHouse of Talents (18-9) to seventh ranked Limburg United (16-11) 114-111 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of House of Talents. Limburg made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Kortrijk helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for Dutch guard Marijn Ververs (194-1998) who led his team to a victory with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). American forward Noah Baumann (198-1999, college: GCU) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Kihei Clark (175-2000, college: Virginia) answered with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import guard Ithiel Horton (196-2000, college: Texas, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) added 23 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Kortrijk. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Limburg maintains seventh place with 16-11 record. Kortrijk at the other side keeps the fourth position with nine games lost.
